What is a Virtual Internship?

Simply put, it is a practice run through setting up and running a legal nurse consulting practice. A qualified, practicing legal nurse consultant will go through the process with you!

A step beyond mentoring, the Virtual Internship provides you with tangible experience in every facet of the business, from setting up your home office through preparing for trial. You will create marketing materials, draft discovery responses and locate experts. Throughout, you will have email contact with a qualified, practicing legal nurse consultant to answer your questions and provide feedback. Additionally, twice a month, you will have the opportunity to chat online with your consultant.

Who needs a Virtual Internship?

If you are just getting started in the legal nurse consulting field, a Virtual Internship can make the process easier and less overwhelming.

If you are already a practicing legal nurse consultant, you can brush up on your marketing or on your writing skills. Perhaps you want more clients. Or you want to move into a different area of law, such as workers compensation or social security disability. Through an internship, you can gain experience, create the necessary marketing materials and have the confidence to branch out.

How long does it take?

The Virtual Internship moves at your speed. You will be sent each section, one at a time, in order. As you complete and turn in the assigned work, you will receive feedback and move on to the next section of the internship. It is designed to take from one to four months to complete. It all depends on you!
